We are situated at approx. 1330 feet above sea level, which offers far reaching views from the property, along with plenty of walks directly from our property, these can be followed by various hiking apps (All trail apps are available on the relevant appstore). Here are some of our recommendations:

  • The Bridestone approximately 15-20 minute walk away, which are a collection of large rocks offering a different vantage point of far reaching views, this along with other bridleways and footpaths to follow.
  • A short drive across the valley gives you access to Gaddings dam, Britains highest beach, and Stoodley Pike, a 121 ft (37mtr) stone monument, so bring suitable footwear and clothing if you wish to venture off piste.

Being in Yorkshire we can experience 4 seasons in one day so pack for all weather eventualities.

SURROUNDING AREAS

We are approximately 1 mile from the market towns of Todmorden, which offers various eateries and pubs, or 4 miles the ever popular Hebden Bridge, with its collection of bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent shops, and even an independent cinema.

We are also only a 25 min drive from Haworth where the Bronte sisters wrote most of their famous works.
