  • A hot stone pizza oven.
  • A hand made BBQ / fire pit.
  • All utensils and equipment needed will be provided for use of both the pizza oven and BBQ.
  • All wood is supplied free of charge for the duration of your stay.
  • There is a food preparation and storage unit.

ANIMALS

The Hous and its grounds are situated on a 10-acre smallholding with a flock of primitive breed Ouessant sheep, which are the smallest sheep in the world, four male, rare breed Baby Doll Southdown sheep, who are certainly not the smallest sheep in the world! We also have a herd of pygmy goats, all kept as pets.

These animals are in paddocks adjacent to the Hous, and supervised access is available upon request, please liase with your hosts to arrange that. Please do not feed the animals without supervision due to dietary restrictions as other than grass, their diets are kept under close scrutiny and control as lots of things are poisonous and therefore deadly to both the sheep and goats. (but that does not stop them having a nibble at virtually anything)

We have thought long and hard about accepting guests pets and whilst we have 3 dogs of our own which we adore, for the safety of our own livestock, the cleanliness and hygiene of the Hous and grounds we have decided, sadly, not to accept guests pets.

Wildlife such as rabbits, hares, birds of prey, badgers, and owls can be seen around the Hous. The surrounding pasture is a nesting area for curlews and lapwings in spring, followed by swallows.
